Baxter Alfred Sofa – Marco Milisich – Cognac Leather – Vintage
Beautiful original Alfred sofa by the Italian design brand Baxter, upholstered in characteristic cognac/brown leather.
The Alfred is an iconic, generous sofa with a classic Chesterfield look and the typical Baxter finish: beautiful thick leather, rounded armrests, decorative nails, and loose leather cushions. This sofa was purchased around 2002 and has acquired a beautiful, lived-in patina over the years.
The leather shows signs of wear and color differences, especially on the seating area. This gives the sofa its characteristic vintage appearance. One of the two leather bolster cushions was damaged in the past and professionally fitted with an extra piece of leather; this is visible and clearly shown in the photos. Otherwise, considering its age, the sofa is in good and solid condition.
Includes two original leather bolster cushions and three loose leather decorative/back cushions.
A special Baxter for lovers of Italian design, which becomes particularly beautiful in an interior where a new, perfect sofa is not desired.
