An elegant vintage flower stand designed by Emile Guyot for Thonet, featuring a graceful chrome-plated tubular steel frame fitted with new colored glass shelves. The colored glass shelves are replacement pieces and are not original to the stand. Its refined Bauhaus-inspired design combines sculptural elegance with practical functionality, making it a timeless addition to any interior.
Designed by Emile Guyot and manufactured by Thonet during the 1950s, this flower stand reflects the enduring influence of Bauhaus and Functionalist design. The lightweight tubular steel construction supports new replacement colored glass shelves, offering an ideal display for plants or decorative objects while maintaining an open, architectural appearance.
Crafted from chrome-plated steel with new replacement colored glass shelves, the stand remains in very good vintage condition. It is structurally sound and fully functional, showing only light signs of wear consistent with age and careful use. The chrome retains an attractive shine, while the replacement colored glass shelves are in excellent condition.
