Product description
A fine solid wood Baroque frame (weight 3 kg), a masterful example of artistic craftsmanship that elevates this piece to a true antique. Revisited Baroque (Louis XIV/Late Baroque) style, featuring a dynamic and solemn design. Craftsmanship: Carving with acanthus leaf motifs and scroll curls that create a magnificent interplay of light and shade. The flat internal frame features a refined punched engraving with engraved floral motifs, framing the central oval, lending depth and prestige. Dimensions: 57 x 47 cm. Thickness: 8 cm. The piece is in excellent condition. The gilding retains a warm luster and an authentic patina that testifies to its age, with some slight discoloration. The original workshop label is on the back.
