Product description
Superb vintage brass candlestick in a Mid-Century Modern style, likely English-made, circa 1950-1970. The base features four twisted strands forming a helical column, topped with a cup fitted with a spike designed to hold a large cylindrical candle. Its clean, sculptural design evokes the British "Barley Twist" style. 23.5cm high and 8cm in diameter for the cup. In good overall condition, with some signs of wear, light scratches, a few small oxidation spots, and slightly tarnished brass, mainly on the cup and base. Approximately 700g.
