Vintage S70 bar chairs (2) by Lindau & Lindekrantz for Lammhults, Sweden 1960s The S70 chair was manufactured by Lammhults, a well-known Swedish manufacturer. Designed by Börge Lindau and Bo Lindekrantz, the chair is perhaps the most famous from the manufacturer to date. Launched in 1968. These S70 bar stools were presented as part of a much wider range of items such as ashtrays, coat hangers, tables and chairs. The industrial-looking form is characterized in part by the letter-shaped legs, which are made from a continuous piece of steel brown tubing. Below this is attached a birch plywood wooden seat, which is comfortable due to its ergonomic seating surface.
Veneer damaged in some places.
