Postmodern Murano Glass Chandelier “Leda” – Attributed to VeArt / Artemide (1980s/90s) Description: For sale is a rare and exceptional vintage chandelier made of mouth-blown Murano glass. This is the iconic “Leda” model from the postmodern era (Memphis design style), produced in Italy in the late 1980s or early 1990s. The VeArt glassworks was a renowned subsidiary of Artemide. Details & Condition: • Design: Colorful pop art design with characteristic stacked glass spheres on the central stem and curved arms with frosted glass shades and colored decorative rings. • Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The glass shows no damage, cracks, chips, or deep scratches. All glass elements are completely intact. • Note on Authenticity: The original paper/foil label has been lost over the years during cleaning. However, the model is unmistakably identifiable as a "Leda" by VeArt due to its distinctive shape and material finish. An absolute highlight for lovers of Italian mid-century and postmodern design.
