Atlasaurus = a sauropod dinosaur that lived during the Middle Jurassic period, approximately 165 million years ago.
Its bones/fossils:
Discovered in Morocco, in the Atlas Mountains, hence its name "Atlas lizard."
Several vertebrae, limb bones, and part of the skull have been found.
It measured approximately 15 meters long and weighed approximately 20 tons. Smaller than its cousin, Brachiosaurus.
Its bones show that it had a neck and forelegs longer than its hind legs, like other brachiosaurids.
