From 2019 - Asienta 3 seater design sofa designed by Jehs + Laub for Wilkhahn in Germany from 2013.
Upholstered in the original black leather (type 74/99) cowhide leather, Asienta 863/5 2019 with an aluminum frame. Made in Germany, designed by Jehs+Laub.
Excellent original condition, few minor scratches and spots on seat surfaces and inside side surfaces. Minimal marks on frame and exterior.

Marked on bottom with 2019 model sticker and Wilkhahn label on side.

The stylish aluminum frame with curved cross sections and organic transition points forms the characteristic contours around which the cushioning of the cubic seat seems to wrap. The upholstery is thin and flat on the outside, with a distinct curve on the inside. It looks soft but is firm and provides comfortable support for different seating positions. With their stylish upholstery, the cubes appear to be wrapped in one piece of fabric. They are an exciting interpretation of traditional shapes, combined with clear precision and a relaxed look. The extremely robust four-legged construction allows for large spans. The series offers free-standing chairs that are very compact or in normal width, as well as two- and three-seat sofas and upholstered benches. For upholstery, there is a choice of high-quality fabrics and exclusive leather. The low tables are coordinated. With glossy chrome frame.
Meanwhile, due to its timeless design, this sofa is already a contemporary design classic, which can be used in the office, at the desk, as a reception or simply in the living room.
Over 100 years ago, the Wilkhahn company was founded by Friedrich Hahne and Christian Wilkening as a chair factory. By 1946, contact had been established with the Deutsche Werkstätten with designers Georg Leowald and Herbert Hirche working in the Bauhaus tradition. Since then, Wilkhahn has been one of the premium manufacturers of office furniture there
