DESCRIPTION:
These executive chairs are very high-quality and very expensive pieces. They are upholstered in genuine, butter-soft premium smooth leather, which is further enhanced by the elaborate topstitching and piping.
The frame is made of polished aluminum and bright chrome-plated tubular steel, making the chair light yet very stable. The beautifully curved armrests with the all-round horizontal bar on the back have elaborately crafted solid wood pads in black, which are flush-mounted. The return force of the rocking mechanism can be variably adjusted using a rotary knob, and the tilt can also be locked in place using a lever. The backrest is decoupled from the seat by a second pivot point and thus adapts ergonomically to the spine. The backrest has additional padding in the head area and a freely tensioned mesh fabric on the back that adapts to the body.
The modern star base in rocket design includes a gas pressure spring integrated as a central column that can be freely adjusted using a lever. Chrome castors at the ends of the star base underline the premium character.
This very exquisite chair is particularly suitable for upmarket commercial settings. In the private sphere, it is a special feature for lovers of particularly high-quality and elegant furniture. In combination with USM Haller desks, it will not only appeal to interior designers.

The roots of ART.COLLECTION go back to 1946, when Hermann Schwarz founded the company, which he renamed "Dreipunkt" in 1962. The ART.COLLECTION brand is relaunched in 1976 as a manufacturer of the most exclusive and sophisticated office furniture. To cover the premium segment, the Haworth Group acquired ART.COLLECTION in 1999.

Fine, naturally grained premium cowhide nappa leather, originally grown, unique in the pattern of pores, grain and surface structure, dyed through in the drum, lightly pigmented (semi-aniline), hard-wearing and yet soft and supple.

The photos are exposed in high light so that the 1a condition is also visible in detail! Colors are generally brighter as a result. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the natural color tones. Gloss on the photos or grayish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are silk matt to silk gloss.

CONDITION:
Like new! The chair is technically and visually in an impeccable and excellent condition. It has only been used sporadically and has little or no signs of wear. The leather is like new and has no stains, scratches, tears or holes and is completely odorless. It is almost indistinguishable from a new chair.
The swivel chair comes from the boardroom of a southern German energy supplier, so its value and condition are commensurate with this. Therefore, please do not compare it with the quirks and scratches of frequently used office chairs. This is in a completely different league!
This chair is just right for the design lover who is looking for the highest quality workmanship combined with top condition at a reasonable price, but does not want to take any risks or get any unpleasant surprises when it comes to condition!

is unfortunately not exactly known. As it was positioned as a premium high-back chair in direct competition with the Vitra Alu Chair, it is likely to have been in the region of over €2000.

TRANSPORT:
We have found that transportation by Whoppah courier is sometimes considerably (100-150%) higher than the market price of the usual removal companies and furniture couriers! We can organize a cheaper transport within Germany, to the Netherlands, to neighbouring German countries or an EU transport for you if necessary. Inexpensive non-EU transportation by general cargo forwarder in a special wooden crate may also be possible.
