I am offering three framed artworks of Ettore Sottsass design furniture. Memphis Milano 1981. In 1981, in the early days of the Memphis Design Group, the furniture catalogs were created by hand. A photograph of each piece was taken and pasted in. The catalogs were produced by the designers themselves, including Ettore Sottsass, and they even took them on sales trips to Germany. How do I know this? I met a woman in the past who worked in purchasing for a German furniture store in the 1980s and met Sottsass several times. 1981 was the founding year, and this appears to be one of the first catalogs. A quick internet search will show that the furniture was designed in 1981. Therefore, this is not just a loose catalog page, but a work of art from 1981. The adhesive dots and strips used to attach the photos emphasize and highlight the artistic aspect. The paper is A4 cardstock, 21x30 cm. The top side is slightly yellowed, but this is not visible when framed. See sample photos. Please refer to the photos for the condition. Further items can be found in my other listings.
