Product description
Iconic Eclisse Table Lamp by Artemide, designed in 1965 by Italian designer Vico Magistretti. With its spherical silhouette and characteristic opening, the Eclisse is one of the most famous lamps of Italian Space-Age and Mid-Century design.
The special feature of the construction is the rotatable inner hemisphere, which allows the emitted light to be mechanically regulated. Depending on the position, the light source is more or less covered, which changes the lighting effect from open, more direct light to strongly shielded illumination.
The lamp is made of lacquered metal and is presented here in classic white. The round base, the spherical lamp unit and the integrated cable switch emphasize the functional yet sculptural character of the design.
Condition: Authentic used vintage condition with visible signs of age and use. The white lacquer shows scratches, abrasion, minor paint loss and localized discolouration.
