Made of brass with a tinned finish, giving it a subtle silvery appearance. Period: circa 1900-1915 Material: tinned brass Style: Art Nouveau / Jugendstil Details: hammered body, scalloped edge and strikingly shaped double handles with organic, whip-like curves Condition: good antique condition with signs of age, surface patina and some tinning damage appropriate to age and use (see photos). No maker's mark. A fine decorative piece, suitable as a wine or champagne cooler, or as a striking Art Nouveau interior accent. Dimensions: height 29 cm, diameter 16.5 cm Origin: probably Germany or France
