Vintage, art nouveau, flamed stoneware, ceramic liquor set by Denbac from Vierzon, France, circa 1910 - 1920. This beautiful set, includes a carafe with a handle, and 6, small, mugs/cups with a design on their handles, that matches the delicate design of the carafe, featuring a beautiful, organic form of the epoch. The soft and subtle, multicolored, drip glazes have hues of brown, blue and green, from the mouths to bases, inside and out, as well on the handles. The micro-crystalline glaze, offers a smooth, velvety effect to touch (see photos.). Each piece is signed "Denbac" in hand script on the bases. Style no. 124 is also incised on the base of carafe, and no. 191 on the bases of the cups (see photos.). The set is in in overall, excellent, near mint, original condition, with extremely light signs of age and use commensurate with time, and a patina of time, as it has been very well cared for over the years, by a collector, with no chips, cracks or other damage. All photos taken in natural, indoor light, so colors may slightly vary, based on brightness, angles and perspective in which they are viewed.
