This exceptional Art Nouveau decorative oil lamp dates from the late 19th/early 20th century and is crafted from heavy cast bronze or brass. The object immediately stands out with its organic lines, curling arms, and finely crafted animal motifs, typical of the Art Nouveau period.
The lamp has a powerful sculptural silhouette with a richly detailed base featuring a pearl rim, a central spherical body, and elegantly curved arms ending in animal heads. The original patina remains intact, emphasizing the piece's age and authenticity.
