Bring the atmosphere of the 1930s to your kitchen with this beautiful, authentic spice cabinet (or grocer's cabinet) in the Amsterdam School style, complete with a working clock. All original drawers are included, and the cabinet is in impeccable condition. It hung in my parents' kitchen for years, but due to a kitchen renovation, there is currently no room for it.
- The drawers bear the mark ‘Spenzo’. This was the wholesaler of S. Polak and Sons from Amsterdam, active between the 1930s and 1950s. They imported high-quality porcelain from Germany or Czechoslovakia.
- The built-in clock is not only decorative, but it also still works.
- The ceramic drawers are chip-free, meaning they are completely intact and without cracks. Rare for such an old cabinet!
Add a touch of history to your interior with this special Art Deco cabinet. Contact us today for more information or to add this unique piece to your collection. Due to the fragility of the porcelain, pickup is preferred.
