Product description
Purple vase made of mouth-blown glass with glass of varying thicknesses creating a beautiful interplay of lines Height: 29 cm. Ø: 51 cm. The vase is in excellent condition with only a few minor scratches from use. Origin: The Netherlands, 1932. Material: Glass. Willem Jacob Rozendaal (1899–1971) was a Dutch designer and graphic artist, active in Maastricht in the 1920s–30s, where he worked for Kristalunie Maastricht. His designs, including glass and ceramics, are considered representative of Dutch Art Deco and interwar design. Later, he was a lecturer at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
