Product description
Rare Art Deco table clock from the Belgian faience factory Herman Hélin, manufactured around 1925. The piece is executed in the characteristic Papier Marbré liquid glaze, with an expressive color palette in ochre yellow, orange, black, white, and gray. A typical interwar object with strong geometric lines. Museum reference: This specific model is documented and included in the collection of the Clockarium Museum in Brussels. Its provenance and authenticity can be officially verified through their archives. https://www.clockarium.com/press/photo-presse.htm (Source: Clockarium.com — © Clockarium – Photo Jacques de Selliers) Condition: • Faience in beautiful, pristine condition • Authentic craquelé consistent with age • Original mechanical movement + key Note: The original mechanical movement is functioning. The small hour hand has slight play on the shaft and may occasionally shift. A simple repair by a clockmaker would suffice. Dimensions: H 17 cm – W 25 cm – D 5.5 cm
