Spectacular Art Deco sideboard, made in France in the 1930s.
This piece is distinguished by its superb burr walnut veneer with spectacular symmetrical "mirror" patterns, typical of the luxurious aesthetic of the interwar period.
The front features three sections:
On the left, a compartment with four interior drawers, ideal for cutlery and table linens.
In the center and on the right, two storage spaces with adjustable shelves, perfect for dishes or decorative objects.
The sideboard rests on a curved plinth base and is topped with a stepped top, giving it a refined and architectural silhouette. The interior is made of stained wood with a meticulous finish.
The curved lines of this sideboard and the veneer make it a very elegant and unique piece.
A piece of furniture as majestic as it is functional, ideal for a dining room, living room, or office with a vintage or contemporary aesthetic.
Craftsmanship attributable to a high-quality cabinetmaking workshop, in the tradition of the great names of French Art Deco (Leleu, Dominique, Sornay...).
Very good overall condition. The veneer is well preserved, and the doors and drawers function perfectly.
