Beautiful 1940s-50s Art Deco style floor lamp in solid oak.
It is indeed solid, but it has retained a lightness and elegance with its slender, tapered stem.
Adorned with two adjustable circular shades.
Comes with its original crocheted lampshade in perfect condition; it can also be fitted with a more conventional, commercially available shade if preferred.
The original bayonet socket has been replaced with a more practical screw-in version (E27) with rings to accommodate any lampshade. The plug has also been changed for safety reasons.
The original Bakelite bulb switch has been retained.
All in excellent condition.
