Product description
Beautiful sculpture of 1 male deer in full motion. Patinated metal, probably bronze, but difficult to say due to the patina. Patinated Spelter (rule technique/white metal). Produced in the 1920s to 1930s. Heavy sculpture (+/- 5.7 kg). Signed in the marble base: Gilot (France). The deer is mounted on black marble, decorated on the front with veined brown-orange marble. The sculpture is in good condition, with a small chip on the black marble, see photo. Not noticeable.
