Stölzle Söhne Art Deco Vaseline Glass/Annagrün Dessert Set, 1930s
This set was produced by the renowned Austro-Bohemian Stölzle Söhne glassworks at their historic Heřmanova Huť glassworks. The set consists of a large main serving bowl and four smaller bowls (nesting set).
Dimensions: Large bowl: Diameter 22 cm; Height 7.8 cm. Dimensions: Small bowls: Diameter 11.5 cm; Height 4.5 cm.
Authenticity note: The large bowl features a distinctive, original factory "carbon mark," a thin, dark streak impressed into the hot glass during the industrial glassmaking process of the time. This is not damage, but rather a charming mark of authenticity highly prized by collectors of antique glass. The bowls are in excellent condition.
Only one small bowl has a tiny chip (see photo).
