Art Deco double-body sideboard, Rome, Italy, made for Minister Bottai in 1933
This olive root sideboard is perhaps the only example of the Art Deco style of its kind.
Made in Rome in 1933 for the fascist leader and minister Bottai, as inscribed on the accompanying table.
It features a triangular decoration in the frosted glass windows, a symbol of Freemasonry.
The black upper band is a typical fascist symbol.
Original in every part.
Lower body dimensions: 174 cm long, 51 cm deep, 100 cm high. Weight: 30 kg.
Upper body dimensions: 163 cm long, 38 cm deep, 64 cm high, weight: 20 kg.
