An elegant and highly collectible Art Deco side table designed by Jindřich Halabala in the 1930s. This iconic Czech design features a striking circular top veneered in beautifully figured walnut burl, showcasing a dramatic symmetrical grain pattern that highlights the exceptional craftsmanship of the period.
The table stands on Halabala’s characteristic bentwood base, formed from gracefully curved wooden elements that intersect beneath the top, creating a sculptural yet highly stable construction. The removable tabletop adds a practical and distinctive feature to the design.
The top has been professionally refinished, carefully sanded and restored to preserve the beauty of the original veneer while enhancing its rich color and depth. The table remains in very good condition, structurally sound, stable, and ready for everyday use.
