Art Deco bronze and glass wall sconce by Jules Leleu.
23cm wide, 17cm high, 14cm deep. In perfect condition.
This Art Deco wall sconce is a creation attributed to the renowned French designer Jules Leleu. It is distinguished by its timeless elegance, characteristic of the refined aesthetic of the 1920s and 1930s, combining geometric lines with noble materials.
The sconce's structure is made of gilt bronze, featuring a complex central geometric motif from which two curved arms extend. Each arm supports a faceted glass shade, designed to diffuse a soft and warm light. The dimensions of this piece are 23 cm wide, 17 cm high, and 14 cm deep. The original wiring is present on the back of the mounting plate.
The piece is in excellent condition, a testament to the quality of its craftsmanship. The bronze has retained a beautiful golden patina, and the glass elements are intact, without any major chips.
This wall sconce integrates perfectly into a classic or contemporary interior, adding a touch of historical sophistication. It would be ideally placed in a hallway, on either side of a mirror, or in an Art Deco or Parisian-style living room.
