For sale is a hand-hammered tray/bowl/dish, model 29, marked on the underside "KB" (for Karl Bayer, Munich) and "29" (model number). Designed by Karl Bayer for the Munich Arts and Crafts Workshop.
Karl Bayer was born in Mindelheim in 1887 and died in Deisenhofen near Munich in 1982.
Munich, Arts and Crafts Workshop, also No. 46, metal sculptor. From 1906, he attended the Royal School of Applied Arts in Munich, in the class of Fritz von Miller.
Oval tray with a slightly raised, wavy rim.
Dimensions: Height approx. 2.5 cm, width approx. 26.5 cm, depth approx. 17 cm.
