This extraordinary Art Deco bar cabinet, made in France around 1940, boasts exquisite craftsmanship in both its design and materials. Its simple design, influenced by the polygonal forms of Art Deco, is characterized by its geometric elegance. Its compact dimensions make it ideal for urban homes or sophisticated spaces, adapting to modern lifestyles. When closed, the cabinet presents a spacious rectangular shape, with the main body separated from the leg structure. Almost the entire piece is made of rosewood, giving it a deep, lustrous, and elegant finish.
The rosewood contrasts harmoniously with the geometric design on the front, which spans both doors, and the distinctive tone of the lemonwood. This creates a dynamic and symmetrical focal point, characteristic of the visual language of Art Deco. The doors open via a concealed magnetic mechanism, eliminating the need for handles and leaving the surface smooth and glossy.
