Rare very early Edition Ant Chair by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen 50’s.
The "Ant Chair", model 3100, was originally designed by Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen (1902 - 1971) for the canteen of the Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk. This 1950’s chair is made of a beautiful molded teak plywood, with a three-legged base of nickel-plated metal.
No rough veneer damage or other deterioration. No crack in the top layer of the veneer. Manufacturer's name on the bottom. Seat height 43cm.
