At the beginning of the seventies, Arch. Cini Boeri revolutionized the furniture market with her model, that becomes an “evergreen”: the modular sofas Strips , which belong to the history of arflex and it is really one of the most famous products. Designed in1968, it awarded the prize Compasso d’Oro and it is displayed in several museums in the world, like for example the Triennale in Milan, in Tokyo, in Moma in New York, etc. The main characteristic of the model is the removable quilted cover.
Material:
Base: Metal and poplar plywood.
Polyurethane with differentiated density and polyester fiber.
Fully removable cover in fabric with polyester slip cover.
Fabric is combined with polyester and cotton fiber, in order to obtain a quilted cover. Feet in black lacquered metal and protective nylon glides.
