A characterful set of eight postmodern dining chairs by the renowned Italian design house Arflex, produced in the 1980s. The chairs are a strong example of Italian postmodern design from that period: graphic, subtly sculptural, and thoughtfully constructed.
The design is defined by a slender metal frame on which the seat and backrest appear to “float,” creating a light visual presence and offering surprising seating comfort. Thanks to their restrained yet distinctive form, the chairs integrate seamlessly into both contemporary interiors and contract or project-based environments.
The set shows visible signs of use consistent with its age and original use. This patina is honest and consistent across all chairs and enhances their authentic vintage character. Structurally, the chairs are sound and stable.
This set is preferably sold as a complete group of eight.
