Original Kilta handled bowl with lid by Kaj Franck for Arabia Finland.
Introduced in 1953 and produced until the 1970s, the Kilta series is considered one of the most important achievements in Scandinavian modern design. Franck’s philosophy of reduction and functionality is clearly visible in this piece: clean geometry, balanced proportions and timeless simplicity.
The conical form, tubular side handle and integrated pouring lip make this object both practical and sculptural.
A true Nordic modern design classic.
