A rare and highly sculptural pair of AP-14 lounge chairs, also known as the Anneau chair, designed by Pierre Paulin and produced by A. Polak. This is one of Paulin’s earliest and most architectural seating designs, built around a light tubular steel frame with a suspended sling seat. The form is simple but very strong: almost like a butterfly or folded canvas chair, but refined into a much cleaner modernist object.
