Antique Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Champagne export crate, 1st half of the 20th century. This beautiful and weathered champagne crate from the famous champagne house Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin of Reims was intended for export to São Paulo via the port city of Santos. This crate contained 12 bottles of Brut, numbered 98. Because the bottom of the crate has been opened, it can now serve as a side table.
