Antique industrial desk lamp by the lighting manufacturer Schaco Gotthold Schanzenbach & Co. GmbH – (Electrical and lighting technology specialist factory, Frankfurt am Main). Founded: 1899. The lamp is in the Bauhaus design and dates from approximately 1926 to 1930. The lamp is marked with the Schaco symbol on the underside of the base.
This lamp is extremely rare and easily rivals lamps from manufacturers such as Kaiser Idell, Midgard, Kandem, and others.
Minor signs of age-related wear. Partially restored; the surface has been refinished.
