Product description
This is a standing ashtray, also known as a smoker's stand, in the Neoclassical style, likely made of brass or bronze. It was designed to display an ashtray in a raised, freestanding manner. The style is characterized by symmetry and classical details, such as the fluted (grooved) stand and the decorated base and handle. The material exhibits patina and discoloration consistent with age and use. The bowl has indentations for resting cigarettes.
