Large antique sorting unit from France, dating back to the 1930s. Made from solid pine, it features a grid of evenly divided open compartments that were once used for organizing mail or storing small goods. The piece shows beautiful grain and a warm patina from age and use, giving it a natural, lived-in look. The most striking part about this unit is the joinery of each compartiment with its neighbour.
