DESCRIPTION:
A unique antique silver-plated vase/bougeoir or candlestick from around 1900 with a puti/cherub/angel design. The cherub stands on an ornate base, with a rose resting at its feet. This beautiful object is Neo-Rococo in design (a revival of the Rococo style around 1900). The cherub holds a holder into which the beautifully crafted glass rests. 4377 (C5) is scratched under the base of the object; this is likely a production number. In short, a unique and romantic object for the true connoisseur.
