Product description
This antique record player/gramophone, from the brand Disco, is a remarkable piece of music history crafted from wood. The piece combines the functionality of an early audio player with the aesthetics of a classic wooden cabinet, complete with a distinctive oval mirror detail on the front.
The gramophone is equipped with a mechanical crank on the side and an internal horn, which is typical of early 20th-century sound reproduction. The wooden cabinet in a warm brown tone also offers storage space in the lower cabinet, where a substantial collection of 78 rpm records is kept, including examples from Polydor and Decca. The construction displays craftsmanship from a bygone era.
The object is in a condition befitting its age and use, while retaining its historical character. The record collection is included, which enhances the historical value of the set.
The crank is currently not working and requires some attention, but it has always worked until recently. So, with a little love, this player will likely be up and running again in no time.
