This elegant antique carver armchair is believed to date from the late 19th to early 20th century, circa 1890–1920, and is designed in the Queen Anne Revival style.
The chair is upholstered in a warm floral tapestry-style fabric with tones of gold, beige, red and soft blue. The decorative upholstery beautifully complements the dark-stained wooden frame and highlights the traditional character of the piece.
The armchair features shaped wooden armrests, carved details on the upper backrest and decorative carving on the front legs. The underside shows traditional webbing and sprung seat construction, typical of older upholstered seating.
A charming accent chair for a living room, reading corner, hallway, bedroom or classic interior setting.
