Would you like a beautiful piece of antique over 100 years old on your modern table, as a small flower vase or toothpick holder? A beautiful and atmospheric antique porcelain figurine of a young Alsatian girl in traditional costume, complete with the characteristic large black bow tie and a goose in her arms. This type of figurine often also served as a decorative toothpick holder (porte-piques) or miniature vase. The original model number 18890 is deeply embossed on the back of the base. The underside features the authentic red export stamp "Importé d'Allemagne", indicating that the figurine was produced in Germany (Thuringia) around the turn of the century (approx. 1890-1914), specifically for the French market. Material: Polychrome glazed porcelain. Height: 19 cm. Perfect condition. A unique and authentic collector's item for lovers of historic porcelain and regional folklore!
