This collector's item, crafted from thick siliceous clay, features a rich, hand-painted floral decoration on each side. The motifs display shades of blue, green, and burgundy, in the style of traditional Iznik production. The glaze boasts a superb, glossy lead glaze offering magnificent period iridescence and beautiful, thick, set drips just above its raw base. A four-sided Islamic art object of great aesthetic and historical significance, perfect for a discerning decorative collection.
