For sale is an exceptional antique figurine from the Historicist period, dating from around 1885–1905. The finely crafted female figure in antique style is made of bronzed spelt (zinc casting) and stands on a decorative sphere of white marble or alabaster with red veining. The richly ornamented base underscores the high-quality craftsmanship. A special feature is the original engraved metal plaque with the inscription: "Won at the fair... Masquerade Ball 1897." This dedication gives the figure a verifiable history and makes it an exceptional collector's item.
