19th-century Dutch mahogany Biedermeier maid's cupboard.
Description:
The cupboard features typical Biedermeier characteristics, such as the rounded corners and the ornate, wavy panels on the two doors.
Originally a linen or wardrobe from the 19th century.
The cupboard is recognizable by the distinctive elegant style that was popular between approximately 1815 and 1860.
Such cupboards are often used as a linen cupboard in the bedroom or as a characterful storage cabinet in the living room.
Features:
- A profiled top or crown at the top.
- Ornate ornaments (carvings) on the sides of the cupboard.
- The cupboard stands on turned round legs at the front.
- Shelves and two small storage drawers behind the two doors.
- A large storage drawer below the doors.
