This large antique vintage portrait painting from the 19th century shows a German baron in military uniform, Adam Franz Bernhard, Baron von Hirschberg.
He is shown wearing official decorations, reflecting rank and service of the period.
Painted around 1870 and presented in its original wooden frame, in a style typical of aristocratic portraits of the period.

This painting was made to be displayed together with the matching portrait of his wife, Baroness von Hirschberg (see other listing), but can also be purchased separately.
