Original Japanese tansu from the Meiji period, conceived in a vertical format with balanced proportions and composed of a sequence of wide drawers that underline its functional and architectural character. The combination of paulownia and Japanese cedar provides structural lightness, stability, and excellent durability over time.
Circular black iron fittings, together with side carrying handles, reinforce its original identity as domestic furniture designed for mobility within the Japanese home.
