Original Jacob & Josef Kohn café chair, made in Vienna, Austria, circa 1895–1910.
The chair is crafted from bent solid beech and features an original woven wicker seat.
This model is a classic Kohn café chair and is related to the iconic Thonet No. 14, but with typical Kohn details such as the more robust proportions, a different backrest arrangement, and a warm patina.
Thanks to its lightweight construction and elegant lines, this type of chair was used worldwide in cafés, bistros, and restaurants. Today, it is a beloved collector's item and a stylish accent in both classic and modern interiors.
