Product description
Antique electric candle holder lamp base.
It is made of repoussé gilt metal, adorned with a red glass cabochon on each of its three sides. It makes a very attractive display.
It dates from the 19th century.
It is in very good condition; I would just point out a tiny unsoldered section, approximately 6 mm long, see photo 4 between the two raised areas. It is very discreet.
It measures 50 cm in height, including the socket. At the base, the three feet form a triangle with 22 cm sides. It will therefore fit comfortably without being obtrusive.
It uses a bayonet bulb, not included.
It weighs approximately 1.6 kg; its repoussé metal construction makes it not too heavy. Its polished feet have not scratched my furniture.
The wiring is functional, and the electrical cord is gilt, as it should be.
Traceability: This beautiful item was acquired from an auctioneer; a copy of the sales receipt will be provided to the buyer.
