Gilded Louis XVI-style wall mirror with openwork crest – France, 20th century
Description
Elegant narrow wall mirror in classic Louis XVI / neoclassical style. The mirror features a richly decorated, gilded frame with an openwork crest at the top. The crest is executed with stylized laurel leaves, leaf motifs, and berries, giving the mirror a distinctly French appearance.
The narrow, tall shape makes the mirror highly suitable as a hallway mirror, bedroom mirror, or decorative accent in a classic or eclectic interior.
