Rare and charming antique French souvenir jewelry box (Souvenir de Voyage) from the Belle Époque period (circa 1900). The domed lid features an original historical black-and-white photograph showcasing the panorama from the Jardin des Plantes in Avranches (Normandy), with the iconic Mont Saint-Michel abbey visible on the horizon.The circular frame is crafted from ornate brass with floral reliefs, standing firmly on its 3 original legs. It features 4 thick, curved, bevelled glass panels (verre biseauté) around the sides.
