Antique English bookcase / revolving bookcase – solid oak
Beautiful antique revolving bookcase, crafted from solid oak and executed in a classic, timeless style. Probably from a library.
The rectangular top is supported by four narrow baluster-shaped columns, while the top is proportionally sized with two lower leaves connected by four vertical bars on each side, mounted on four casters.
The piece is fitted with open, numbered compartments all around and rests on small casters, making it easy to rotate and move.
The bookcase boasts a beautiful, warm wood color with a lovely patina that has developed over the years. Characteristic features include the turned columns, brass hinges, and carefully profiled edges. The piece is in good, used condition commensurate with its age, with normal signs of wear and age.
