A very beautiful antique Art Nouveau hanging planter in barbotine, late 19th/early 20th century, circa 1890-1930. Reminiscent of pieces from the Onnaing and Nimy factories, the maker is unknown, but it is marked "J" inside. The planter is shaped like a bowl, decorated with raised floral, vegetal, and geometric motifs in shades of beige, brown, ochre, and dark blue. It has a lovely flared shape, complemented by a decorative tassel at the bottom. The antique dark metal chain is very clean and patinated.
The hanging planter measures 24cm in diameter and 11-12cm in height (15cm including the tassel). The total height with the chain is 60-70cm. It is in very good condition with no particularly noticeable flaws. This piece can be used either as a hanging planter or as a light fixture, depending on the desired use. It weighs approximately 2kg.
